Litigation Adjuster
While other companies are struggling to maintain the status quo, we continue to grow and be profitable. We need someone with experience in non-standard, minimum limits claims to handle our existing litigation claims.
The Litigation Adjuster will handle files that reach litigation status and require the expertise of the litigation adjuster. The litigation adjuster will need the following skills:You must have:
- Make decisions on which cases to defend and which cases to settle
- Direct defense attorney on actions needed to conclude the claim economically
- Settlement values
- Coach front line adjusters on patterns or trends seen in files becoming litigated
- Review legal billings for excessive billing
- Attend most mediations via phone
- Review incoming legal mail to ensure we are not missing time limit demands
- Assist the injury unit depending on the workload

- Valid, current Texas adjuster license
- Prior experience handling a caseload of minimum limit Auto litigation files
- Willingness to work hard

Bodily Injury Claims Adjuster
The BI adjuster handles the the injury claim- primarily third party BI and a small amount of PIP and Med Pay features- in a split file handling environment. Some files require the BI adjuster to complete the coverage and liability investigation.

- 2 - 4 years personal lines BI adjusting experience
- Active TX adjuster license
- Highly organized and efficient in a fast-paced paperless environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient with computers and typing of 30 WPM
- Multiple language skills a plus

Inside Claims Adjuster – Property
Empower has an opening for a Inside Material Damage (MD) adjuster. This is a desk job and not a field position.
The MD adjuster handles the claim from beginning to end by investigating coverage and liability and resolving the damages that result.
We split file handling and have MD adjusters who handle the material damage aspects of the claim.
